Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing, and she uses her knowledge to provide proofreading and developmental editing services to authors of fiction and creative nonfiction and has been doing so since 2013. Her expertise in editorial extends beyond the realm of creative writing as she is a content marketer and editorial manager for her “day job” as she grows her editing business. She heads a team of freelance writers, has edited over 50,000 pieces of web content, and has trained over 400 writers and over 15 fellow editors.
Abby Rotstein
Abby considers herself a writer first and an editor second. Throughout her career, she has written and edited a wide range of documentation including safety manuals, healthcare policy, and online marketing materials. Abby is also a creative writer who has had several short stories and personal essays published in literary magazines such as The Battered Suitcase, Word Riot, and Fwriction Review. She is a mental health advocate who frequently contributes to The Mighty, writing about her experiences with OCD and depression. Her advocacy work includes speaking at schools and businesses in an effort to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. She also uses stand-up comedy as a vehicle for spreading awareness. Abby is currently at work on a novel.
